Recently, the subject of capital punishment has been a hot topic, from the Governor's moratorium on the death penalty to various viewpoints debated in the news. Our speakers will discuss their varied experiences dealing with the legal and social issues of capital punishment. Come hear from Steve Wax, the Legal Director of The Oregon Innocence Project, Senior Deputy District Attorney Bryan Brock, and capital murder Public Defender Lori Bender, as they share their thoughts and allow you to join this important and interesting discussion.

Domestic Violence: A Legal Venn Diagram

Please join us for an open panel discussion with the Honorable Judge Heather Karabeika, Attorney Ruben Medina, and Deputy District Attorney Grace Pauley, as they talk about the rights of parties and the relationship between family law and criminal law in cases involving domestic violence.
